..There are eight SwayamVyaktha (self revealing) kshetrams in India. It virtually means, that no man created or sculptured those Statues of the Lord in these places, but all of His own appearance and creation. These are holy places where the Lord revealed himself to give darshan (Audience) to the People. These are:

Badrikashramam, Salagramam, Naimisaranyam, Pushkaram, Thirumalai (Tirupathi), Srirangam, Srimushnam & Thothadri (Vanamamalai)

Emperumaan, Lord Sriman Narayanan is found in various Thirukkolam. The Thirukkolam (Appearance of His revered Idols) in 108 Divyakshetrams are listed  below:

Kidantha Thirukkolam (Sleeping Posture) – 27 Divyadesams

Veetrirundha Thirukkolam (Sitting Position) – 21 Divyadesams

Nindra Thirukkolam (Standing Position) – 60 Divyadesams

 

… The Lord appears facing Towards East direction at 79 temples, facing towards West direction – 19, facing towards North direction – 3  and facing towards south direction in 7 temples.

..temples are located in places where the earth’s magnetic wave paths densely paases thro..like hill tops etc..a copper plate with vedic manthras written on it is placed under the moorthy in garga graha..this absorbs the magnetic waves and radiates to the surroundings..so if one visits temples and does pradakshinams he gets refreshed..also  the theertham with cardoman, saffron,clove and thulasi leaves and pachai karpooram increases the medicinal value of the water..

…by covering  the hand with the Dharbham.(holy grass)   it was found that the grass absorbed about 60% of the(x-ray) radiation!When the so powerful X-ray radiation can be absorbed by the Holy Grass, why can it not absorb the ill-radiations spread over the atmosphere..that is the reason  we use darbham for grahanam days also to protect our food and also pregnant ladies..

..At least 20 learned Vedic scholars would stand near the “kumba jalam” ( holy water kept in thecopper or brass vessel) and holding a “Dharbam”,one end in their hand and other end in the water, would recite all the slokas  and do the “Japam”  – I think this is because “Dharbam” is a very good conductor of acoustic vibrations – When this happens you can surely find the difference in the water’s state before and after such a japam

Brahmanandam parama sukhadam kevalam jnanamurtim dvandvaateetam gagana sadrusam  tatvamasyadi lakshyam ekam nityam vimala machalam sarvadheesaakshibuutam bhaavaateetam triguna rahitam  sadgurum tam namaami.   Word by word meaning: 01.   Brahmanandam =  (He who is the source of) the eternal bliss (Brahma is derived from )02.   Parama sukhadam=  (the source of) supreme happiness03.   kevalam jnana murtim = total personification of wisdom (Advaita darshanam jnanam means experience of   non-duality is true wisdom.04.   dvandvaateetam  =(who is ) beyond the dualities of this material world such as happiness & sorrow,  good &  bad  merit & demerit etc.,)05.   gagana sadrusham = (who is) as infinite as sky (formless) 06.   tatvamasyadi lakshyam. = Whose attention is always on the divine (who is the sole aspiration and  goal of life)07.   ekam = Guru is one (who is unique)08.     nityam = eternal 09.      vimalam = pure10.  achalam = stead11.  sarva dhee  saakshi bhuutam = witness (saakshi) in consciousness (dhee) in all  beings  (sarva bhuutam)  (Who sees with the eyes of wisdom)12.  bhaavaateetam = who is beyond emotions& thoughts13.    triguna rahitam  =beyond the three gunas  (binding aspects of our nature) satva, rajas and tamo guna. 14. sadgurum tam namaami  = I salute (namaami) to that(tam)  Sadguru (Great Master)

“I salute to that Sadguru who is the source of eternal bliss, supreme happiness, who has true wisdom who  is beyond the dualities, who is  infinitwhose attention is always on the divine, who is unique,eternal,  pure, steady, and who sees with the eyes of wisdomwho is beyond thoughts and beyond  three gunas “.

..The beginning of the kali yuga, according to the astronomical information from Mahabharata and other Vedic scriptures, started at 2:27a.m. on February 18th in the year 3102 B.C. exactly when Lord Krishna had left this planet after 125 years and 4 months of His earthly pastimes. It is also described that the arrival of Kali yuga was witnessed by the great heroes of Mahabharat like Yudhistira.

…..Now, what is the cause of getting new body in the next life? The main cause for this is one’s activities that can be either pious or impious. Every action, either physical, emotional or mental, every movement occurring either on the plane of gross matter -sthulam- or on the astral planes -sukshma- produces a seed of karma.  

v ..Being a seed, karma fructifies or does not fructify immediately after it is sown. The innumerable seeds we produce by our actions -desire, aversion, lust, greed, hatred, good or bad words, etc. will undoubtedly produce, sooner or later, a positive or negative result according to the nature of the seed, if not in this life, then in some future one. As a man sows, so shall he reap.  

 

…Vishnu sahasranama stotrams and  birth-natchatrams ….Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji during His discourse on the eve of Sri Bhishma Ekaadasi Viratpaarayanam in Hyderabad where lakhs of people gathered on 13th February 2003, had  declared that the 108 slokhas (sloka) of Sri Vishnusahasranaama Stothram removes all the ills associated with any grahadoshams to any chanter of any Nakshatram(Stars viz.constellations) and provides supreme solace and supreme bliss. There are 27 Nakshatram starting from Aswini and ending with Revati. Each Nakshatram has four Paadam. Thus 108 slokhas correspond to 27 X 4 nakshatra padams. Thus a person born in Aswini 1st Paadam can chant first slokha, Bharani 1st padams can chant 5th slokha and so on for respective Nakshatra Saanthi. A person not sure of one’s Nakshatra can chant all the 108 slokhas and get rid of all ills associated with one’s Nakshatram and attain sampoorna saanthi.

..Gaayatri Mantra..
Gayatri mantra has been bestowed the greatest importance in Vedic dharma. This mantra has also been termed as Savitri and Veda-Mata, the mother of the Vedas. The literal meaning of the mantra is:God! You are Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Almighty.

You are all Light. You are all Knowledge and Bliss.You are Destroyer of fear; You are Creator of this Universe,You are the Greatest of all. We bow and meditate upon your light.
You guide our intellect in the right direction.
The mantra, however, has a great scientific import too, which somehow got lost in the literary tradition.
The modern astrophysics and astronomy tell us that our Galaxy called Milky Way or Akash-Ganga contains approximately 100,000 million of stars. Each star is like our sun having its own planet system. We know  that the moon moves round the earth and the earth moves round the sun along with the moon. Allplanets round the sun.Each of the above bodies revolves round at its own axis as well. Our sun along with its family takes one round of the galactic center in 22.5 crore years.All galaxies including ours are moving away at a terrific velocity of 20,000 miles per second.And now the alternative scientific meaning of the mantra step-by-step:(A) Om bhur bhuvah swah:Bhur the earth, bhuvah the planets (solar family), swah the Galaxy. We observe that when an ordinary fan with a speed of 900 RPM (rotations Per minute) moves, it makes noise. Then, one can imagine, what great noise would be created when the galaxies move with a speed of 20,000 miles per second.
This is what this portion of the mantra explains that the sound produced due to the fast-moving earth, planets and galaxies is Om. The sound was heard during meditation by Rishi Vishvamitra, who mentioned it too their colleagues. All of them, then unanimously decided to call this sound Om the name of God, because this sound is available in all the three periods of time, hence it is set (permanent). Therefore, it was the first ever-revolutionary idea to identify formless God with a specific title (form) called upadhi. Until that time, everybody recognized God as formless and nobody was prepared to accept this new idea. In the Gita also, it is said, “Omiti ekaksharam Brahma”, meaning that the name of the Supreme is Om, which contains only one syllable (8/12). This sound Om heard during samadhi was called by all the seers nada-Brahma a very great noise), but not a noise that is normally beyond a specific amplitude and limits of decibels suited to human hearing. Hence the rishis called this sound Udgith musical sound of the above, i.e., heaven. They also noticed that the infinite mass of galaxies moving with a velocity of 20,000 miles/second was generating a kinetic energy= 1/2MV2 and this was balancing the total energy consumption of the cosmos. Hence they named it Pranavah, which means the body (vapu) or storehouse of energy (prana).
(B) Tat savitur varenyam:Tat that (God), savitur the sun (star), varenyam worthy of bowing or respect. Once the form of a person along with the name is known to us, we may locate the specific person. Hence the two titles (upadhi) provide the solid ground to identify the formless God, Vishvamitra suggested. He told us that we could know (realize) the unknowable formless God through the known factors, viz., sound Om and light of suns (stars).
A mathematician can solve an equation x2+y2=4; if x=2; then y can be known and so on. An engineer can measure the width of a river even by standing at the riverbank just by drawing a triangle. So was the scientific method suggested by Vishvamitra in the mantra in the next portion as under: –
(C) Bhargo devasya dheemahi:Bhargo the light, devasya of the deity, dheemahi we should meditate. The Rishi instructs us to meditate upon the available form (light of suns) to discover the formless Creator (God). Also he wants us to do Japam of the word Om (this is understood in the Mantra). This is how the sage wants us to proceed, but there is a great problem to realize it, as the human mind is so shaky and restless that without the grace of the Supreme (Brahma) it cannot be controlled. Hence Vishvamitra suggests the way to pray Him as under:
(D) Dhiyo yo nah prachodayat:Dhiyo (intellect), yo (who), nah (we all), prachodayat (guide to right Direction). O God!  Deploy our intellect on the right path.Full scientific interpretation of the Mantra:The earth (bhur), the planets (bhuvah), and the galaxies (swah) are moving at a very great velocity, the sound produced is Om, (the name of formless God.) That God (tat), who manifests Himself in the form of light of suns (savitur) is worthy of bowing / respect (varenyam). We all, therefore, should meditate (dheemahi) upon the light (bhargo) of that deity (devasya) and also do chanting of Om. May He (yo) guide in right direction (prachodayat) our (nah) intellect dhiyoSo we notice that the important points hinted in the mantra are:-1) The total kinetic energy generated by the movement galaxies acts as an umbrella and balances the total energy consumption of the cosmos. Hence it was named as the Pranavah (body of energy). This is equal to 1/2 mv2 (Mass of galaxies x velocity)2) Realizing the great importance of the syllable OM, the other later date religions adopted this word with a slight change in accent, viz., amen and Ameen.3) The God could be realized through the saguna (gross),upasana (method), i.e., (a) by chanting the name of the supreme as OMand(b) by meditating upon the light emitted by stars(sun).
